Optometric Billing-Aetna and Coventry; Now One!

Hopefully this merger will create more opportunities for Optometrists to generate revenue from qualified patients. Remember, many Aetna plans provide for 1 Routine eye exam per year and I've seen full reimbursements of up to $220.00 for one of these exams including full refraction reimbursement and payment of contacts or other supplies.

  1. Wow the fact that Aetna and Coventry have merged will make the billing process for my optometrist in Edmonton a lot easier. I'm sure that he was happy about that.

    1. I wouldn't doubt it. Please come back and fill us in regarding the billing process there. It would be nice to get some real-world examples of how this all plays out

  3. I've been looking for a good optometrist in Victoria BC. If anyone knows some great ones they should comment on them.
